Woodside Doughboy - Inscription at the base - Lest We Forget - the Doughboy is featured in a
solemn pose. Notice his bandaged head and laurel held behind the helmet. The park was a
mustering site for local soldiers before the war. Dedicated May 30 1923. Located in the
Woodside section of Queens in Doughboy Park. Sculptor - Burt W. Johnson.
Richmond Hill Doughboy - also known as the "My Buddy" memorial. The memorial sits in one
corner of Forest Park at the intersection of Myrtle Ave and Park Lane South. Like the Woodside
Doughboy he is posed in a reflective stance over the grave of a fallen soldier. Dedicated 1926.

Rockaway Doughboy - located in front of the police station in Rockaway Beach. As soon as you
go over the causeway the Doughboy is located in front of a parking lot on a median in the road.
Dedicated Nov. 11 1927. Sculptor Joseph Pollia, who also created the Richmond Hill Doughboy.
Plaque located at the
